The bads and goods of today

The bad . . .
Calling out to someone in a semi crowded hallway and having that person "not hear you because it was so loud." Lies I tell you!

I said a joke today, I thought it was funny and easy to follow along with. But no one else did.
A kid walked up to this boy, who has the most severe case of acne I swear. Recently all of his pimples oxodized and are now turning into hundreds of black spots on his face. Anyways the kid asks him "So, what are those black things?" Most awkward conversation ever, hands down.

Drove with my window down and hardcore pop music (we're talking Jessica Simpson circa 2001) on full blast. Pulled up to a bunch of construction workers sitting along the sidewalk on their lunch break . . . I'm stubborn and refused to turn my music down or change the song, most awkward red light I've ever waited at. 

The good . . .
I brought my big coat AND scarf on a day where the weather was freezing, score 1 for me and 0 for Mother Nature.

Getting my hair done today!!

I wore blue eye shadow under my eyes today and got a handful of compliments on it.

Had a delicious lunch. Carnitas and I are officially best friends.

Here I am again. Apparently a year and three months has past since my last post. Why? Because I lost my drive for this. I just didn't feel like I had anything special to being to this fashion blogging business. There was nothing that made me stand out from those other "every day fashionistas."

But here I am, back again for more. Senior in high school, new phone, new stories to tell, and a whole new appreciation for my very own sense of style. So join me again on this crazy ride my friends. Promise you won't regret it.

The White Party Ideas

A whole post dedicated to my thoughts on this outfit and i even give my tips on creating the perfect white themed outfit whether for a party or every day!

"SWEET HEELS"

FOR THE FIRST OUTFIT I DID THE WHITE BUTTON DOWN AND SIMPLE WHITE JEANS. I DECIDED THAT WITH THIS OUTFIT I WANTED TO PLAY UP THE ACCESSORIES INSTEAD OF TINKERING WITH THE CLOTHES. 

THE FIRST THING I DECIDED TO ADD TO THE SHIRT AND JEANS WAS A BELT BECAUSE I FELT THAT THE JEANS AND BUTTON DOWN NEEDED SOMETHING TO KEEP THEM FROM BLENDING IN AT MY WAIST. I THINK THAT BECAUSE THE BELT IS BRAIDED IT KIND OF GIVES THE OUTFIT T A MORE RELAXED FEEL RATHER THAN BEING TOO FANCY AND FORMAL. I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE SANDALS THAT I FOUND ON FOREVER21.COM FOR 27 BUCKS. I LOVE THE PRETTY TEAL FLOWERS THAT POP AGAINST THE DARK BLUE COLOR OF THE SANDAL.

"FLASHY SEQUINS"

ONTO OUTFIT #2, WHICH IS A BASIC SCOOP/CREW/BOAT NECK WHITE TEE. USUALLY TAKEN FOR THE MOST RELAXED KIND OF SHIRT OUT THERE, RIGHT?

WELL NOT WHEN YOU PAIR IT WITH FLASHY SEQUINED SHORTS! THEY IMMEDIATELY MAKE THE OUTFIT IN MY OPINION. AFTER ADDING SOMETHING AS STATEMENT MAKING AS SEQUINED ANYTHING TO AN OUTFIT NEVER GO OVERBOARD. IT'LL LOOK LIKE YOU'RE TRYING TOO HARD, AT LEAST IN MY OPINION OF COURSE. WHICH IS WHY I PAIRED THE FLASHY SHORTS WITH NUDE PUMPS AND SILVER ACCESSORIES RATHER THAN GOLD. 

"HOLY LACE"

SO LAST BUT NOT LEAST OUTFIT #3. LIKE I SAID EARLIER I AM IN LOVE WITH ANYTHING LACE AND I WAS ABLE TO FIND THIS LACEY DRESS AT H&M.COM. IT WAS JUST AN ADDED BONUS THAT IT HAPPENED TO BE WHITE.

I LIKE TO THINK THAT THIS OUTFIT IS MORE EARTHY AND BOHO THAN MY OTHER 2 BECAUE OF THE COLOR AND STYLE OF THE HEELS, WHICH ARE FROM FOREVER21 ALONG WITH THE ACCESSORIES. I'M NOT REALLY  A BIG FAN OF RINGS BECAUSE I HATE GETTING THAT ANNOYING GREEN RING OF SKIN ON MY FINGERS.....AND I'M NOT EVEN CHRISTIAN (PROUD BUDDHIST)! BUT THIS RING CAUGHT MY EYE BECAUSE OF THE PRETTY RHINESTONES INSIDE OF IT.

IT'S EASY TO SAY THAT ACCESSORIES MAKE THE WHITE 

HERE'S SOME OF THE KEY ACCESSORIES.....

• SCARVES- JUST ONE LITTLE STRIP OF COLORED FABRIC AROUND YOUR NECK CAN ADD THE PERFECT POP TO A WHITE SHIRT. THE BEST PART ABOUT USING A SCARF IS THAT YOU CAN USE IT IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS! (headband, belt, around the neck, on a purse handle.)
• SHOES- I'M SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT A WHITE SHIRT IS THE BEST CANVAS TO "PAINT" ON. WHEN I SAY PAINT I MEAN EMBELLISH....DECORATE. AND WHAT BETTER ITEM TO DECORATE THAN SHOES! NO MATTER WHAT COLOR THE SHOES THEY WILL ALWAYS BE BALANCED OUT WITH THE BASIC WHITE OF THE SHIRT, AMAZING!
• BRACELETS/NECKLACES/RINGS- THE SLIGHT POP OF COLOR FROM A BNR (from here on out i will refer to those three as that) IS AMPLIFIED BY A WHITE TEE OR RATHER WHITE ANYTHING.
